Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Show

I’m dropping off two pieces for the Society of Minnesota Sculptors show at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum today.  It’s very exciting.  One piece is outside (Crunch) and the other (Coral) will be with the others inside.

Come check it out and make sure to stroll through the gardens,  Oh, you might notice some very large sculpture scattered throughout the grounds.  Those are… not mine.  One can only hope.

The exhibit is Steelroots and is the work of Steve Tobin.

Enjoy the shows.

At the studio

I was at the art studio today making art.  Started a piece that I will finish next week.

It feels good to get back into it.  The technique gets rusty.

Also signed up for a Struck Tools class through the local Guild of Metalsmiths.  We’re going to make a chisel, a drift and a couple of other tools.

I’m almost ready for the apocalypse. Just need to learn to make knives and swords!

Website? Finally!

Craig? Don’t you build websites for a living?

Sure do.

Why did it take so long for you to get your art site up and running?

There was an earthquake!  The apes took over the world!  The death star blew up! My car broke down.  There was an asteroid impact.

NO excuses.  It’s up now.  Enjoy.
